I started my day off with a phone call at 8am informing me that the real estate man would be here at 9am after being told that it was cancelled! The lodge was perfect… freshly dusted, swept, mopped, and even waxed. My house on the other hand was not. It had become the catchall for all of the Christmas decorations and everything that needed a place to belong. It was on the floor, the dining table, and spread out on the bar along with last nights takeout food trash. I rushed around trying to clean the kitchen and dining room as quickly as possible since my kitchen door was next to my office. At 8:40, they came walking through the front door of the office. I walked out of my kitchen, shutting the door behind me, to meet them.
